Terrace Springs

Actually, Terrace Springs is a thermal region of its own, adjacent to the southwest corner of Gibbon Geyser Basin, but because of its low number of notable features I have integrated it in the description of Gibbon Basin. Terrace Springs is located next to the highway north of Madison. The spouting activity is not caused by high temperatures, since the springs exhibt only about 60 °C (140 °F), but by a mixture of evaporating gases, mainly carbon dioxide.
